Right Choice Shoppe

If you’re walking around Jaitpur Meetha Pur, you might have seen our place at number 12. It’s called Right Choice Shoppe, though it’s really just a regular neighborhood store. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. The space is a bit cramped once you get more than three people inside. We stock a bit of everything, from small electronics to things you might need for your house in a hurry. The shelves are always a bit of a mess because I’m not the best at organizing, but I know where everything is. Mornings are usually quiet, just me drinking tea and waiting for the first customer. By the afternoon, it picks up quite a bit. Jaitpur is a busy area, and there’s always noise coming from the street. I try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s hard to compete with the big malls, but we manage. Some days the electricity goes out and we just sit there in the dark for a bit, talking to whoever is in the shop. It’s that kind of place. Nothing too serious or professional, just a local shop trying to make a living. I’ve been thinking about painting the walls, but haven’t found the time yet. For now, it stays as it is. Most of our regulars live right on the same block, so it feels like a community.
