Rex Electric

Our shop, Rex Electric, is down in the basement of Mohan Singh Place in Connaught Place. It’s unit 115. Being in a basement means we don’t get much natural light, but we’re surrounded by all the electrical supplies you could think of. From heavy wiring to the smallest little switches, we keep it all packed in here. CP is a busy place, and Mohan Singh Place has its own history, so we get a real mix of people coming down the stairs. Some are looking for something specific for an old building repair, others just need a new light bulb or a power strip. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock delivered, but we manage to find space for it all. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the inventory pretty well. It’s not a shiny, modern store. It feels like an old-school workshop because that’s basically what it is. We deal with contractors and regular homeowners alike. Everyone gets treated the same. We just want to make sure you leave with the right part so you don't have to come back because something didn't fit.
