Raswant Telecom

Raswant Telecom sits right at Vijay Chowk in Lakshmi Nagar, specifically at K-3. It’s a loud spot because the traffic never seems to stop around here. My shop is mostly about phones and getting people connected. I sell the SIM cards and the recharge vouchers that people still ask for. The window is covered with posters of different mobile plans. I spend most of my time standing or leaning against the glass counter. It’s a small room, but it’s right where people pass by on their way to the market or the metro station. I see the same faces every morning. Some people just stop by to ask for directions or to check the time. I have a display of basic accessories like headphones and chargers. They aren't the most expensive things, but they are what people need when they are on the move. The dust from the road comes in, so I have to wipe the glass every few hours. It’s a simple setup. I don't have fancy furniture, just a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who needs to wait while I fix a minor issue. Sometimes the network is slow and we just have to wait for the computer to load. That’s just part of the job. It’s a busy life at the chowk, and there’s always something happening right outside my door. I keep it open as long as there are people walking around.
