Rana Communication sits right on the Main Road in Ram Swarup Market. If you are coming through Kanjhawala towards Qutabgarh 2, you’ll probably see us. This shop has been part of my family’s life for a long time. It’s not just about selling SIM cards or fixing phones; it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. The market is always buzzing with people buying groceries or clothes, and we are right in the middle of that mix. I usually have a helper with me during the afternoons when it gets really busy. We have shelves filled with boxes of different phone models and stacks of memory cards. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't have fancy lights or a big marketing budget. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. A lot of the older folks from the village come to us when they can't figure out their new smartphones. We sit with them and show them how to use the camera or send a message. It takes time, but that is just part of being in a community like this. We know which families live where and who is related to whom. It’s a small world here at Ram Swarup Market, and we like it that way.
