Raju Tent, Light And Sound House is based in Rohini A-3/25. If you live around this part of Rohini, you’ve probably seen our trucks moving around in the evenings. We handle the basic stuff for parties, religious gatherings, and local weddings. It’s mostly about moving heavy speakers and untangling long rolls of black wires. My hands are always a bit dirty from handling the cables and metal pipes. We keep all our gear in a storage space that always feels way too small for everything we own. When a booking comes in, we have to scramble to get everything loaded onto the tempo. It’s not just tents; the lighting takes a lot of time to set up so it doesn’t look messy or dangerous. We’ve had some very late nights where we are still packing up at three in the morning while everyone else is asleep. That’s just the nature of this kind of work. I started this with a couple of friends many years ago. We aren't some big event company with suits and glossy brochures. We just show up, put the stuff together, and make sure the sound doesn't cut out during the speeches. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard, and then it’s a mad rush to cover the equipment with plastic sheets. Rohini is a busy place, and there’s always something happening. We just try to keep the gear in good shape and show up.
