Rajdoot Tent House

Rajdoot Tent House has been over here at Lodhi Road for a long time. Our spot is number 49 in Mehar Chand Market, right where all the action is. Most days you will find us loading up trucks with poles and different colored fabrics. It’s a lot of manual labor, to be honest. We aren't some big corporation with shiny brochures, just local people doing the work. Usually, it's about getting the frame right so it doesn't wobble if the wind picks up. We’ve done setups for all sorts of things, from small birthdays to the bigger weddings people have around here. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we spend time cleaning things up before the next job. It’s a busy life. My father used to run things and now I’m handling the day-to-day stuff with a few helpers. We know this neighborhood well. If you come by the market, you can see our stacks of chairs and those heavy iron pipes we use for the structures. It isn't always pretty work, especially in the summer heat, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just show up, put the tent up, and take it down when the party is over. It’s simple. We try to be fair and just do what we said we’d do. That’s pretty much the whole story of our shop. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
