You can find Rajdhani Communications over in Samalka right on the Mahipal Pur Gurgaon Road. It is a very busy stretch of road with trucks and cars zooming by all day and night. Because of the location we get a lot of people who are just passing through or staying in the nearby guest houses. The shop is small and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if I ever found the time. I handle most of the walk-ins myself. People often stop by because they forgot their charger at home or their phone died while they were traveling. Dealing with the traffic noise is the hardest part of being here in Samalka. Sometimes I have to shout just so the person on the other side of the counter can hear me. We have all sorts of mobile accessories hanging on the walls. I try to keep the basics in stock like SIM cards and data packs. There is no air conditioning so the door stays open to catch whatever breeze there is from the Gurgaon Road. It gets dusty very quickly so I am always wiping down the glass counters. I have been here long enough that I know the tea seller and the other shop owners nearby. We all look out for each other. It is a simple life and the work keeps the kitchen fire burning.
