We've been at Maharani Bagh Kilokri 148/2 for a while now. It's just us doing the tent work and decorations for people around here. Most days are busy, getting the poles ready and folding the fabrics. We started this because we knew how to handle the setup. It isn't anything fancy, just a local spot where you can come talk about what you need for a function. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but we manage. People come by the shop to look at the different cloth colors we have. We keep the equipment in the back. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. When a neighbor has a wedding or a small get-together, they just walk over to 148/2. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace. My brother and I usually handle the loading. The fabric gets dusty so we spend a lot of time cleaning it. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. We just try to get the tents up straight and make sure the lights work. It’s hard work but it's what we do. If you're walking through Kilokri, you'll see our sign. We try to be fair with everyone who comes in. Usually, someone is always there if you need to ask about dates. It’s a simple life, just working with our hands every day.
