Raj Tent & Caterers

Raj Tent & Caterers is located right here in Malviya Nagar at E-2/16-3. It is usually a very busy spot for us. Every morning starts with checking the inventory to see what is going out for the day. Tents are heavy and involve a lot of work. There are many metal poles and large rolls of fabric that we have to load onto the trucks. We have been at this specific location for a long time now and the space is filled with gear. You can usually find one of us sitting outside on a stool if the weather is okay. People from the neighborhood come by to talk about their family weddings or to see what kind of chairs we have available for a weekend party. The catering side of things keeps us moving too. We have these big metal pots and gas burners that need to be cleaned and sorted constantly. It gets quite loud when the whole crew is working at once. Sometimes our trucks take up too much space in the street, but that is just how things are in Malviya Nagar. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning, just this practical space where we keep everything organized. Sometimes the fabric needs a good wash or the poles need a new coat of paint. It is hard physical work, especially during the summer months when it is hot and everyone wants their event setup done early. We just take it one task at a time and try to keep up with the local demand.
