Rag Telecom Centre

Our shop, Rag Telecom Centre, is located in Wazir Nagar within the South Extension Part I area, specifically at number 1483. It is right in the middle of Kotla Mubarakpur, which is a very crowded and lively part of the city. There are always people walking past the door, and the street is quite narrow, so things can get a bit loud with all the scooters. We deal with all sorts of mobile problems, like broken charging ports or phones that won't turn on after getting wet. Most of our day is spent sitting behind the counter with a magnifying glass or a screwdriver. It’s a lot of small work that takes patience. We also keep a stock of earphones and cases for the models that people around here use the most. The shop has been here for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to get around to it. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to sit for a minute and escape the heat. We don't mind. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually playing the news or a cricket match if one is on. It’s a tight-knit area, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a humble place, but it serves the people living in the lanes around Wazir Nagar well enough. We stay open pretty late most nights because that is when people get home from work.
