Qash Qai Kitchen & Bar

We’re tucked away in M Block, right at 89 and 90 in Connaught Circus. Being in CP means it’s always loud outside with the traffic and people walking around Rajiv Chowk. Inside, we try to keep things moving. We’ve got the kitchen going all day and the bar gets busy as soon as the sun goes down. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the crowds that come through here. We have some heavy wooden tables and the lighting is a bit dim, which helps people relax after a long day at the office. The staff is usually running around trying to get orders out. We aren't a quiet little cafe; it’s more of a place where you hear the clinking of glasses and people talking over each other. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that's just the vibe we have. We spend our mornings cleaning up the mess from the night before and prepping the ingredients for the next shift. CP is a strange place, always changing, but we’ve stuck it out here in the M block. It’s not always easy, especially when it’s raining and everyone crowds inside at once. We just do our thing, serving drinks and food to whoever walks in the door. It feels like a real part of the city. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the block well. We just try to get the drinks out fast.
