Cafe Morrison

You'll find us at E 12 in the South Extension Part II Main Market. It's a busy part of town with lots of shops and people always on the move. We've got our cafe set up here, and it's a bit of a break from the noise of the street outside. Inside, it feels a little different. We don't have any corporate manuals or fancy uniforms. It's just us running the place. We spend our mornings getting the coffee machine ready and making sure the kitchen is set for the day. The chairs and tables are simple, nothing too modern. We get a mix of people coming in. Some are just looking for a place to sit for a while and escape the sun, while others are meeting friends for a quick bite. We play some music, usually stuff we like listening to ourselves. The menu isn't huge, just the things we know how to make well. We've been in South Ext for a long time, so we've seen the market go through a lot of changes. Even though the shops around us get more expensive, we try to keep things grounded. It's a place where you can just be yourself. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving all on our own. It keeps us on our feet throughout the afternoon. At the end of the day, we're just glad to have a spot in this part of the city. We shut the doors when the market gets quiet.
