Dublin

Dublin is our place located in Chanakyapuri on Sardar Patel Marg. It’s styled like an Irish pub, so there’s a lot of dark wood and low lighting inside. We serve a lot of drinks and some food to the people who come in after work. Since we are in the diplomatic area, we get a pretty mixed crowd from all over the place. Some nights are quiet and you can actually have a conversation, but other nights we have music playing and it gets quite loud. The bar is where most of the action is. We spend a lot of time washing glasses and making sure the taps are working right. It’s not a very big place, so it fills up fast on Friday nights. The staff knows how to handle a crowd, though we sometimes get orders mixed up when it’s really packed. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a spot to grab a beer and sit for a while. We have some heavy chairs that have been around for years. Sometimes the floors get a bit sticky from spilled drinks, so we’re always mopping up. We like the vibe of the place, especially when the lights are low and the room is full of people talking. It’s just a straightforward pub where we do our best to keep things moving and the atmosphere right. We stay open late and then clean everything up for the next day.
