We've been here at 110 A in Budhela Village for a while now. The space is what it is, tucked away in Vikaspuri. Most days start early when we unlock the door and check on the rooms. It's usually quiet in the mornings before people start showing up. Mehndi Village Club isn't a fancy place with big signs, just a spot where things happen. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the chairs are lined up right. Sometimes the light in the village gets really bright through the windows. It can get a bit crowded when everyone arrives at once, but we manage. You’ll find us mostly dealing with the small stuff, like fixing a leaky tap or moving tables around to make more room. Being at 110 A means we see the same faces from the neighborhood often. We don’t really do much talking about what we do, we just do it. The walls have some marks here and there, but that’s just how it goes with a building this age in Vikaspuri. We keep the registers and the records in the back office. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated. We’ve seen the weather change through these windows plenty of times. It’s home for us, honestly. We just open up, stay till late, and then lock up again. That’s the daily routine here at the club. No big story, just work.
