Prem & Sons

Prem & Sons is tucked away in the Janak Community Centre at M-5/C-10 in Janakpuri. This place has a real family feel to it because that is exactly what it is. We have been here for a long time, watching the kids in the neighborhood grow up and start coming in as adults. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of wall space we have. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once. We handle a variety of things, mostly practical items that people need for their houses. The community centre is a good spot because there is always something going on nearby. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoon. It is the kind of place where we still use a physical ledger for some things because it feels more reliable than a computer screen sometimes. We don't have a fancy website or a big social media presence. People just know where M-5/C-10 is when they need something fixed or replaced. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from years of foot traffic, but we think that just shows the place has been used well. We like the rhythm of Janakpuri. It is a solid, hardworking area and we fit right in with the rest of the shops.
