Praveen Tele Shop

Our shop is at CR 212 in Lalita Park, Lakshmi Nagar. It’s a busy little corner. Praveen Tele Shop is mostly about phones and all the small things that go with them. We have a glass counter that’s always covered in fingerprints because people are always pointing at different models or screen protectors. It’s a small room, so if three people come in at once, it feels crowded. We spend a lot of time fixing screens or helping people figure out why their apps aren't working. The fans overhead don't do much when it’s really hot outside, but we stay busy regardless. Lakshmi Nagar has a lot of students and young people, so there’s always someone asking about the latest recharge plans or looking for a cheap pair of headphones. We have boxes of cables and chargers behind the stool. Finding the right one can take a minute. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we have to wait around to process the digital payments. That’s just part of it. We keep a small TV in the corner to catch the news or the cricket scores when things are slow. The neighbors from the clothing shop next door often pop in to borrow a charger or just to chat. It’s a nice community vibe even with all the hustle. We keep the lights on until late because that is when the most people are walking around.
