Prateek Mobile Repairing

Our shop, Prateek Mobile Repairing, sits in Karol Bagh on Gali No 35. Specifically, we are at 35/318 in the Beadonpura area. It is a very tight street so it gets incredibly crowded during the middle of the day. We spend most of our working hours looking at small screens and tiny circuits under a magnifying glass. People bring in phones with cracked glass or batteries that simply won't hold a charge anymore. It is tedious work but somebody has to do it. The lights in the shop are kept very bright so we can see what we are doing with those tiny screws. Sometimes a repair takes ten minutes and other times we are stuck on one phone for three hours. We don't promise it will look like new but we try to get it working again. Karol Bagh is always loud outside with horns and people shouting, so you can't really hear much else while we work. We have a small wooden bench where customers can wait if they are in a hurry. Most of the time they just leave the phone and come back after lunch or the next day. We have been in this exact spot for a few years now. It is a simple life, just fixing what is broken and talking to the people who stop by. We don't have a website or anything fancy, just the shop and our tools.
