Pramod Tent & Caterers

We’ve been over here at New Khana Market for a long time now. It’s a busy spot in Lodhi Colony, right at number 29. People mostly know us for getting the tents up and making sure the food is ready for whatever they’ve got going on. It’s a family-run thing, really. My uncle started it, and now we just keep it moving along. Most days you’ll find us sorting out the fabrics or checking the kitchen gear. It gets pretty hectic during the wedding months, but that's just how it goes in this part of Delhi. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. Usually, someone’s cousin or a neighbor tells a friend about us, and they show up at the shop. The market can be a bit crowded, especially when the trucks are unloading. Sometimes the poles for the tents take up a lot of space in the back, but we manage. If you’re walking through the market, you’ll see our sign. We try to keep things straightforward and just do the work. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers making sure things get delivered on time. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local place where we know most of the faces around. We've seen the colony change quite a bit over the years, but the shop stays right where it is. It's home for us, and we plan to stay here for a good while longer yet.
