We operate out of L-30 in Malviya Nagar, which is a pretty lively area to be in. The shop is mostly a place where people come when they’re frustrated with their gadgets or their internet. I spend a lot of time on the phone with service providers or hunched over a desk trying to figure out why a router isn't working. It’s a lot of technical stuff, but I try to explain it in a way that makes sense to people. The space isn’t very large, just enough room for a counter and some chairs for people to wait. There are wires running everywhere, which I keep meaning to bundle up properly but never quite get around to. We handle things like bill payments and new connections too, so there’s always someone coming in with a piece of paper and a confused look. Malviya Nagar has a lot of old houses and new apartments, so we see all kinds of people. It’s a neighborhood business through and through. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and which blocks have the most trouble with their signals. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a practical spot to get your communication stuff sorted out. I usually have the radio playing in the background while I work on a tablet or a phone. It keeps the atmosphere a bit more relaxed while I deal with cables.
