Phirbol Telecom

Phirbol Telecom is tucked away in Govindpuri, specifically at 1190 C13. Govindpuri is a crowded place, with houses and shops built right on top of each other, and we are right in the thick of it. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a door and a small counter where we help folks with their mobile phones and connections. Most of our day is spent dealing with small things, like someone needing a recharge or their screen fixed because they dropped it on the pavement. We have a lot of regular people from the neighborhood who come in just because they know we are here. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for the next customer, then trying to figure out what’s wrong with their device. The shelves are lined with cases and chargers, mostly because that’s what people are always looking for. It gets a bit noisy because the main road isn't far off, and you can hear the bikes zooming past all day. We keep the shop open late because that’s when most people are coming back from their jobs and realize they need something for their phones. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what can’t, and usually, people appreciate that. It’s a small life here in C13, surrounded by wires and plastic cases. We spend our evenings checking the registers and making sure the shop is ready for the next morning.
