Pawan Communication is just a small shop over at 156 Sarai Jullena. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to phones—recharges, repairs, or just helping someone figure out their new settings. The shop is quite narrow, so if three people come in at once, it feels a bit crowded. I’ve got posters for different networks on the walls, and some of them are peeling at the edges, but they do the job. My day usually starts with a tea from the stall across the street before I sit down behind the glass counter. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting, then suddenly everyone wants something at the same time. I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years from this little window. People come in to pay their bills or ask about a new phone model they saw on TV. I don't always have the answer right away, so I might have to look things up or call a friend in the business. The keyboard on my computer is a bit sticky from some spilled soda last month, but it still works fine. It’s a very casual place, and we don't put on any acts. We just help out with whatever communication trouble someone is having and try to keep the line moving. It’s just a regular local spot where people stop by to chat.
