Our place is located in Rajendra Place, at number 107 in Patel Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city with lots of offices and people running around. We’ve been operating out of this room for a while now. It’s not a huge space, but we manage to fit all our records and supplies in here. The elevator in the building sometimes acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We do a lot of paperwork and handle various orders throughout the week. It’s the kind of job where the phone is always ringing or someone is knocking on the door with a delivery. We try to keep things organized, but when things get busy, the desks get covered in papers. Rajendra Place has a specific kind of energy, everyone is always in a hurry. We mostly just focus on getting our tasks finished so we can go home. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old photos. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks, just like everyone else in the building. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. We just stay here at 107 and keep doing what we do. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown used to.
