Panasonic Kits

Our shop is at Kalkaji C-47/A, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the kits and parts we keep on the shelves. Panasonic Kits has been a staple in this little pocket of Kalkaji for a while. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stacks of components and electronics that go all the way to the ceiling. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone soldering something or testing a circuit at the back table. It’s a bit of a specialized world, but it’s what we know. We get students coming in looking for parts for their projects and older folks who need something fixed. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the problem and see if we have the right piece to solve it. The bell on the door rings constantly, and the air smells a bit like hot metal and old paper. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, boxes end up on the floor. It’s just the two of us usually, so we handle everything from the cleaning to the technical work. It’s a quiet life in a loud city. We take our tea breaks on the steps outside when the weather is nice. It is a simple way to run a business without any of the corporate stress.
