Running a shop on Sadar Thana Road in Basti Harphool Singh is a bit of an adventure every single day. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how it is—packed with people, carts, and noise. We are at number 5692, and it’s a busy little spot. We mostly deal in accessories, so we have thousands of different items tucked away in every corner. There are stacks of phone covers in every color you can think of, along with piles of chargers, data cables, and Bluetooth speakers. It’s hard to keep everything neat when people are constantly asking to see different designs. The shop is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We see customers from all over who come to Sadar for deals. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking inventory. Sometimes we find things in the back that we forgot we even had. The street outside is always blocked with something, so getting deliveries in can be a real headache. But that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We don’t have much space to move around, but we make it work. Most days I’m just trying to make sure everyone finds the right cable for their specific phone model before the sun goes down.
