Nistha telecom

Nistha telecom is over at Karkardooma Pandav Nagar 2-A. It’s a pretty small shop, barely enough space for more than two customers at a time. I spend most of my day sitting behind the glass counter which is full of different phone cases and charging cables. Some are a bit dusty because nobody buys those models anymore, but I keep them anyway just in case. We do a lot of mobile recharges and quick fixes for people living around Pandav Nagar. The street outside 2-A is always busy with people going to work or coming back from the market. We don't have a big team, just me and a kid who helps with the screen guards. Sometimes the repair work takes longer than we say it will, mostly because we have to wait for parts to arrive from the city. I know it’s annoying for people, but they usually understand. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match. It helps pass the time when it’s slow. We’ve been here for a few years and the neighborhood has been good to us. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi or anything. We just want to make sure the person who comes in with a broken phone leaves with it working again. It’s a basic shop for basic needs.
