Nirmal Telecom

At Madhuban Chowk, there is always something going on. Our shop, Nirmal Telecom, is at 348/8. It is a small spot but it serves the purpose. I started this place because I wanted to be my own boss. It’s not a fancy life, but it works for me. I spend most of my day dealing with recharge requests and selling small accessories like earphones or cables. People stop by on their way to the metro station nearby. The traffic at Madhuban Chowk can be a headache, but it brings people to the door. I have a small stool behind the counter and a tiny television to keep me company when things are slow. The walls are covered in posters for data plans that change every month. I don't really have a staff, just me most days. My wife brings me tiffin in the afternoon. It is a quiet way to make a living. I see the same commuters every morning and evening. Some stop for a quick chat about the weather or the news. The shop gets cold in the winter because the door stays open all day. I have a small heater I keep under the desk. People ask for repairs too, mostly simple things like changing a screen protector. I’ve seen this area change from being quiet to very busy over the last ten years. We are just a tiny part of the big chowk here, tucked into our little corner at 348/8, doing what we do every day without complaining.
