Our place is located at 3, Institutional Area, right on Lodhi Road in Delhi. If you know the area, it is actually pretty quiet compared to the rest of the city because of all the government offices and institutions around here. Nirc Of Icwai has been operating from this building for quite some time. It is a sturdy old building with wide hallways and a lot of paper moving around. We have people coming in and out all day for various administrative things and meetings. Being in 110003 means we are central, which helps since people come from all over the NCR to see us. The office doesn't have any of those modern bells and whistles you see in tech companies. It is more traditional, with wooden desks and lots of files stacked up. We just get on with the day-to-day operations. Lodhi Road has its own charm, especially with the big trees and the wide roads. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which everyone looks forward to. Sometimes it is a bit hard to find parking near the Institutional Area, but that is just Delhi for you. Inside, it is mostly quiet work being done by the staff. We have got a routine here that has been the same for years. It is not a place for flashy displays. It is just where the work of the council happens. We see a lot of familiar faces coming through the doors. It is a steady place.
