New Pragati Telecom

New Pragati Telecom is a small place over at B 72 in Sector 135. It is tucked away and might be easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We mostly deal with the day-to-day things people need for their mobile phones, like new SIM cards or a quick recharge. The shop is quite narrow, so if two people are standing inside, it feels full. We have a small glass counter where we keep the latest handsets, though we aren't a big chain store with endless stock. Most of our time is spent answering questions about data plans or showing someone how to use a new feature on their device. Sector 135 is growing, and we see more people moving in every month, which keeps us busier than we used to be. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we have a small fan that keeps the air moving. We don’t do anything too complicated here, just the basics that keep people's phones working. Sometimes the internet connection for our billing system acts up, and we have to ask customers to wait a few minutes, which they usually don't mind. We know most of the people living in the nearby apartments by name. It’s a quiet life behind the counter, watching the street change as the years go by and more buildings go up around us.
