New Dixit Tent & Light Decorators

We operate out of Shahdara on Ram Nagar Road, specifically at 1/3242-D. It’s more of a warehouse than a shop because of all the tents and poles we have to store. New Dixit Tent & Light Decorators has been around the block, and we spend most of our time out on sites rather than sitting in the office. When there’s a wedding or a local function, we’re the ones hauling the heavy canvas and the strings of lights. The work is physical and can get pretty tiring, especially during the peak season when everyone wants their event on the same weekend. Our space in Shahdara is filled with rolls of fabric, metal frames, and crates of light bulbs. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The office part is just a small desk with a landline and a couple of registers. We deal with a lot of local families who want things done a certain way. Sometimes the rain messes with our schedules, and we have to scramble to keep things dry. We don’t have a big crew, just a few reliable guys who aren’t afraid of a bit of hard work. We grew up around here, so we know the shortcuts and the best ways to get the trucks through the narrow streets. It’s honest work, and it keeps us moving from one place to the next. Sometimes the lights break, and we spend the evening fixing them for the next job.
