Our shop is over in Mahaveer Enclave, specifically at A 1/24 in the Palam area. It’s more of a residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We handle mostly mobile phones, recharges, and small electronics like headphones or power banks. The shop isn’t very big, and the front window is mostly covered with posters for different network providers. I usually get here a bit late because the traffic near the flyover is a mess in the mornings. Once the shutters are up, I spend some time cleaning the glass cases because they get fingerprint marks easily. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main markets, but it picks up in the evenings when people are coming home from work. There is a small plastic stool for anyone who needs to sit down while their phone is getting updated. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to talk about the weather or the local news while I'm working. The rainy season is tough because the road outside gets some puddles that take forever to dry. We don’t do any big advertising; people just know we’re here at the corner. It’s a simple life, just running the shop and making sure we have enough stock for the weekend rush. Usually, I close up around nine and head home, unless someone comes in at the last minute for a recharge.
