New Arora Tent House

Our shop, New Arora Tent House, is located right in the middle of Ansari Market in Darya Ganj. It is at number 24. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with people and traffic all day long. We have been operating out of this small space for quite some time now. Mostly, we deal with tents and the stuff you need for gatherings. It is a lot of work handling the heavy cloths and the metal frames, especially in the heat. Darya Ganj is a place where something is always happening, so we stay on our toes. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us and our equipment. Every morning we open up and start checking what needs to go where. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the ropes and fabric lying around, but we know where everything is. Ansari Market is a good place to be because everyone knows each other. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who walk past our door at number 24. We don't use any fancy systems to track things, just old notebooks and our memory. It’s a simple life, really. We make sure the stuff is ready when it needs to be and then we bring it back and pack it away again. That is what a normal day looks like for us at New Arora Tent House in Darya Ganj.
