Neo Mobile Planet

If you are walking around the DG2/G3 area of Vikaspuri near Vishal, you might see our shop, Neo Mobile Planet. It is not a very big place, just a small room with glass cases full of phone covers and chargers. We spend most of our time sitting at the back bench fixing screens or trying to get old phones to turn on again. The lights inside are quite bright so we can see the tiny screws and wires inside the mobiles. There is always the smell of solder in the air when we are working on a motherboard. We have some old posters on the wall that have started to fade. There are always pieces of broken glass and old batteries lying around the work area. Vikaspuri is a busy spot, so there is constant noise from the cars and people walking by outside. We have a small TV that stays on most of the day, usually playing the news or some old movie to keep us company. It gets quite crowded in the evenings when people come back from work and stop in to buy a new tempered glass or ask why their battery isn't holding a charge. We don't have a fancy system for repairs, just a few tools and a lot of patience. Sometimes we can fix a phone in ten minutes, and other times it takes all day. It’s just a regular mobile shop doing what we can.
