If you head down to Gopi Nath Bazar in Delhi Cantonment, you will find us at IV-1/53-54. It’s a bit of a double shop space which gives us a little more room to move around than some of the others nearby. Being in the Cantt area is different from the rest of Delhi because things feel a bit more disciplined, though the bazar itself is still quite lively. We’ve been handling communications stuff here for a good while. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their mobile plans or selling them a new handset. The dust from the road always finds its way inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. We have a few stools for customers, but often people are in a hurry and just stand by the door. It’s a busy spot especially on weekends when families come out to the market. We keep the shop stocked with whatever is popular at the moment. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical place where you can get your phone sorted out. We know a lot of the army personnel and their families who live around here. They are regular people just like us, looking for a fair deal. We keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure the shutters are down on time every evening. It’s a steady routine that we’ve grown quite fond of over the years. We just stay here doing our thing.
