Narang Tent House

Operating out of Kingsway Camp Main Market is a whole experience by itself. Our shop, Narang Tent House, is at number 16 and we have been a part of this market for a long time. This area is usually loud and full of students and families, which keeps things interesting. Dealing with tents and event stuff means we are always handling heavy poles, folded fabrics, and stacks of chairs. It is physical work and our hands are rarely clean. When the wedding season starts, this place turns into a bit of a madhouse. We are constantly loading things onto small tempos and checking if we have enough carpets left. The shop floor is often covered with bits of rope or dust from the last job. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. It is mostly just storage and a small area where we talk to people about their functions. Kingsway Camp has its own rhythm and we are just another part of it. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because you can't let the fabric get wet, so we have to move fast. It is a simple life of lifting, loading, and making sure the tents are sturdy enough for whatever weather comes. We just do our work and keep things moving in the main market.
