Nanak Tent House

Our place is located at A-110 in Subhash Camp, which is part of Dakshinpuri. It’s a busy little corner. We have been keeping our equipment here for a long time now. The shed is packed with all the stuff you need for setting up a gathering. You’ll see plenty of bamboo poles leaning against the walls and big bundles of colorful cloth. It’s not the neatest looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time out on the streets of Dakshinpuri or nearby areas. Loading the carts takes a lot of effort early in the morning. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice, and we have to dry everything out back at the camp. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually just drop by because they saw us working at another spot. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We take turns watching the shop. The noise of the neighborhood is always there in the background. We have seen kids grow up around here while we were busy hauling chairs and tables. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just pack the gear, set it up, and bring it back when the event is over. That’s the daily routine for us at Subhash Camp. We just keep working hard and stay quiet about it. It is just what we do.
