Naina Telecom

If you walk down toward Rz 21516 in Tughlakabad Extension, you’ll find us tucked in there. Naina Telecom isn’t a huge shop, but we’ve been at this spot for quite a bit. The neighborhood around here is always moving. There’s usually some tea being made nearby and the smell of the market is always in the air. We keep the shop open through the heat and the rain, sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk through the door. The walls are covered with different bits of stock and the floor is a bit worn from all the feet coming in and out over the years. It’s a simple setup at Rz 21516. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there with the door open to catch the breeze. Tughlakabad Extension is a crowded place, so there’s never really a dull moment outside on the street. You hear the scooters going by and the kids playing after school. We know most of the neighbors by name. It’s just a regular business where we do our work and go home at night. The sign out front has seen better days, but it still says Naina Telecom clearly enough for anyone looking. We just keep things running one day at a time, making sure the shop is ready every morning when we turn the key.
