Nagpal Tent House

If you walk down towards F-212 in Mansrover Garden, you'll find Nagpal Tent House right where it's been for years. We do a lot of stuff for weddings and local parties around the area. It’s mostly just us handling poles, heavy cloths, and chairs. It gets pretty tiring when there are three events in one weekend, but we manage. The storage space here is always full of stacks of things. Some of the fabrics have seen better days, but we keep them clean and ready for the next function. People in Mansrover Garden know they can just walk in and talk to us about what they need for their backyard or the local community park. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk with a lot of loose papers and maybe a cup of tea sitting there. My cousin helps out when things get really busy. Sometimes we're late because traffic in this part of Delhi is a nightmare, but we always get the tent up before the guests arrive. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and carrying in the sun. We don't use any fancy booking systems, just a big notebook where we write everything down. If someone cancels, it’s a headache, but we just move on to the next job. That’s how it goes here at F-212. It is just honest work helping people set up their celebrations.
