Mohan Tent House

Mohan Tent House is a small outfit located in Lajpat Nagar at J-36. We’ve been providing tents and basic furniture for local gatherings for quite some time. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, and there’s always something happening in the lanes. We keep our inventory nearby—mostly metal frames, some wooden chairs, and various fabrics for covering. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time we are loading and unloading trucks or trying to get a crease out of a backdrop. We help out with neighborhood religious functions, small weddings, and even just simple get-togethers where people need extra seating. We don't use any fancy advertising. Most people just walk over to J-36 when they need something. We’ve got a small team, and we all pitch in with the manual labor. The gear gets a lot of wear and tear, so there’s always something to sew or a pipe to straighten. We try to be as helpful as we can when someone is stressed about their party. It’s just about getting the job done so the event can go on. We’ve been through many seasons here, from the sweltering heat to the winter chill. Each day is a bit different depending on who walks in. We aren't a big corporation; we are just local folks working in the same neighborhood where we grew up. It’s a steady life and we’re used to the hard work.
