Being in Janakpuri Main Market means there’s never a quiet moment for us. This shop is small, but we cram a lot into it. Every morning we open the shutters and start setting up the glass displays. There are always people walking by, peering through the window or stopping in because they dropped their phone and the screen is a mess. We have boxes of chargers and cables piled up behind the counter, and sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact one someone is looking for. It’s not a big corporate store with uniforms; we just wear whatever and talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes the lights flicker when the market's power is struggling, but we just keep going. We spend a lot of time hunched over small screwdrivers, trying to fix tiny parts that most people can barely see. The floor gets a bit cluttered with plastic packaging by the afternoon, and we usually sweep it out right before we head home. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three customers are inside at once, but we make it work. We’ve got a small radio playing in the background most of the day. It’s just a regular market shop where we deal with whatever walks through the door. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just fix the phones and sell the accessories that people need.
