Mobile Empire

At Mobile Empire, we spend most of the day looking at very small screens and tiny motherboards. We are located at C-509 on Chamiers Road in Sadar Bazar. It is a very busy spot with a lot of foot traffic. There is always someone walking in with a cracked phone or asking for a charger because they lost theirs. The shop isn't very big. We have cases hanging all over the walls on metal hooks. Some are bright colors and some are just plain black. We get a lot of students and people working in the market nearby. The noise from the main road never really stops during the day. I usually sit behind the glass counter and try to organize the SIM cards and memory sticks. It gets dusty pretty fast because of the construction work nearby. We have a small stool for people to wait while we fix their stuff. Sometimes a repair takes longer if the parts are hard to find in the market. We don't really do much advertising around here. People just see the blue sign and come in. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The lights inside are a bit too bright, but you need to see the tiny screws properly. Sometimes we run out of small change in the morning, which is a bit of a hassle. But usually, things go smooth. We just open the shutters and wait for the first customer.
