Metro Communication

Metro Communication is sitting right on the Ring Road in Nehru Nagar at number 19. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it stays pretty loud with all the traffic passing by. We have been set up in this building for quite a while. Mostly, our days are spent handling mobile phones and the various gadgets that people bring in for us to look at. Since the shop is on the smaller side, things can get a little tight when we have a few boxes arriving. We spend most of our time staring at screens or trying to fix those tiny parts that just stop working for no reason. It is definitely not a glamorous job. The front counter usually has tools and random wires scattered across it. We keep the doors open, so the sound of the cars outside is basically our background music from morning until night. Some days are slow and we just sit around and drink tea, while other days everyone seems to have an emergency at the same time. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who know our way around the equipment. People stop in because we are easy to find on the main road. We try our best to keep things organized, but in a small room, it’s a constant struggle. We’ve got shelves full of old parts and boxes. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up.
