Mehta Tent House

Mehta Tent House is located in the D D A Market in Pitampura. Being in a market like this means there is always a lot of activity around us. We keep our supplies like tables, chairs, and colorful decorative cloths stored here. People come to us when they are planning a small puja at home or maybe a bigger event in the community center. Our shop is mostly a place for storage and for people to come and talk about what they need. It isn't a showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, you'll see us loading stuff onto a rickshaw or a small van to take it to a site. The market can be a bit crowded, so we have to be quick with our loading. We have lived around Pitampura for a long time, so we know most of the faces that pass by. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just rely on the fact that we are here and we have the stuff people need. Sometimes the fabric fades or a chair leg gets wobbly, so we spend our afternoons doing repairs.
