Mehta Communication Centre

Mehta Communication Centre has been part of Punjabi Bagh West 47 for a long time. It started out mostly for phone calls and recharges, but things have changed a lot since then. Now we mostly deal with mobile repairs and selling some small electronics. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of the space we have. You’ll find us right there on the street, and usually, there’s a couple of people waiting outside. I spend most of my day behind the desk, talking to customers and trying to figure out why their devices aren’t working right. Sometimes it’s just a simple setting that needs changing. Other times, the whole thing needs to be taken apart. We don’t use any complicated systems here; we just write things down in a ledger. It works for us. Living in Punjabi Bagh West is busy, and there’s always noise from the traffic, but you get used to it after a while. We keep a small stock of earphones and covers too. If we don’t have what you need, we can usually get it in a few days. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about us. It’s a family-run place, so there’s always someone you know behind the counter. We take our time with the work because rushing usually leads to mistakes. That’s just how we operate. Nothing too fancy, just a local shop trying to stay helpful to the community.
