Mehraaz Communication

Our place is located at C-144/4 in Jwala Puri, over in the Sunder Vihar area. It’s a small corner shop that we’ve kept going for a long while now. We mainly handle things like mobile recharges, new SIM connections, and sometimes we help people with their utility bills if they aren't sure how to do it online. The shop is pretty basic, with just a counter and some shelves for the snacks and cold drinks we keep in the back. It’s a quiet enough street most mornings, but it picks up in the evening when everyone is coming home from work. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background while I wait for customers. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations, just a few posters for the network companies on the walls. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the fan doesn't reach every corner, but we manage just fine. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors, so we spend a lot of time just chatting about local news or the weather. It’s not the kind of place that’s going to make us rich, but it keeps us connected to everyone around here. We try to be honest about which mobile plans are actually worth the money and which ones are just a waste. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby come in for a pen or a recharge. It’s just a small, simple business in a busy part of Delhi.
