Our place is located at F-155 in Lado Sarai. If you know New Delhi, you know Lado Sarai has a lot of energy and small shops. We have been here for a long time. The office is not very big, but it has everything we need to handle our media business. We spend most of our time working on magazines and publications. There are stacks of paper and old issues everywhere you look. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The street outside is always full of people and cars, so it is never really quiet. We don't mind it much. Inside, it is just a group of us sitting at our computers. We do not have a corporate dress code or anything like that. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of editing and layout work. Sometimes we go out to the local stalls for a quick lunch. It is a very straightforward way of working. We do not have a dedicated marketing person or a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just try to get the publications out on time. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage to get through it together. It is a real local business where everyone chips in. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we are still here doing our thing. The desks are old and the coffee is always hot.
