Our shop, Manu Telecom Centre, is tucked away in DLF City Phase III. Specifically, we are at S 27/17 on Lane No 29. This part of Gurgaon is always changing, with new people moving into the PG rooms and apartments every month. Our place is small and functional. We have a lot of charging cables, screen guards, and those little things people always lose. The lane we are in is mostly quiet during the day, but it picks up in the evening when everyone comes back from their offices. We’ve been here long enough to see the buildings around us go up. Inside the shop, it’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of stock into a small square. We have a couple of chairs for people who are waiting for their phones to get fixed. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to bother with that. We just focus on the work. It’s a lot of fiddling with small screws and looking through magnifying glasses. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People just walk in because they live in the same block or saw our board while walking to the metro. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, do the repairs, and go home. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just wait it out and chat with whoever is in the shop about nothing in particular.
