Manohar Tent & Light House

You can find us over at Padam Nagar Pratap Nagar, right at Andha Mugal J-3. It’s a corner of the city that doesn’t sleep much. We do both the tents and the lighting stuff. It keeps us busy. Most days I’m checking the wires to make sure nothing is frayed. We have a lot of old fans too that people rent when it gets boiling outside. The shop is full of boxes. Sometimes I think we have too much stuff and not enough space. But then a big order comes and we use it all. Manohar Tent & Light House is just a small local operation. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big delivery fleet. Usually, it’s just a couple of guys and a hired tempo. My neighbors in Pratap Nagar are good people. We help each other out. If the lights flicker, they know who to call. We spend a lot of time just sitting on the wooden bench out front, watching the cars go by. It’s a simple existence. We don’t try to be the biggest in the city. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out actually works. Sometimes the wires get mixed up and it takes an hour to find the right plug. It's frustrating but that's the job. We've been at J-3 for a long time and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It is our home and our workplace all mixed into one.
