Manil Communication

Karol Bagh is always a maze, and we are right in the thick of it at Block 9, Street 4 in Dev Nagar. Our shop, Manil Communication, is one of many on this street, but we have our own regulars who have been coming to us for years. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with phone covers and boxes of screen protectors. We do a lot of repairs here. People drop off their phones with smashed screens and come back after an hour of shopping in the main market. It’s a fast-paced environment. I handle the repairs myself most days, sitting under a bright lamp with a magnifying glass. My eyes get tired by the end of the day, but there’s always one more phone to look at. The street outside is narrow, so you hear everything—scooters honking and people shouting to each other. We drink tea from the stall next door twice a day. It’s a small community of shopkeepers here. We help each other out if someone runs out of change or needs a tool. Manil Communication isn't a big corporation. It’s just a local shop trying to do honest work and keep the customers happy. We don't have fancy displays, just the essentials. It’s been my life for a long time now. We just take it one day at a time here in the city.
