Malhotra Tent & Decorators has been operating in Rohini Sector 4 for a while now. Our address is 41382, which is where we keep all our supplies. It’s a lot of work running a decoration business because things are always moving in and out. One day we are packing up lights, and the next day we are scrubbing stains off carpets. We handle all sorts of local functions, from small birthdays to bigger community events. The stuff we use—the poles, the drapes, the lighting—it all needs a lot of maintenance. We spend a good chunk of our time just fixing things that got worn out. Being in Rohini, we get to know the families around here quite well. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales pitch. Usually, someone just drops by the shop or gives us a call because their cousin used us before. It’s a hands-on job. Our hands are usually dirty from grease or dust, but that’s just the nature of the work. Sometimes we are up late at night finishing a setup before the sun comes up. It’s tiring, but it’s what we do. We try to be practical about what can be done in the space available. We’ve had some long days and even longer nights, but we just keep at it. It’s a simple local business, run by people who live right here in the same streets as our customers.
