Down in Khanpur Tigri, specifically at B-748, is where you’ll find Mahamna Telecom Centre. It’s a small shop, like many others in this part of town, but we stay busy. We mostly handle things like mobile recharges, fixing cracked screens, or helping people figure out why their phone isn't catching a signal. There’s always a bit of a crowd around the counter, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. The shelves are filled with cases, chargers, and various cables that everyone always seems to lose. It can get a bit loud with all the different ringtones going off at once. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen phones go from simple buttons to these big touchscreens everyone carries now. My workspace is usually covered in tiny screws and bits of plastic from whatever phone I’m trying to fix that day. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just us doing what we can to keep people connected. Sometimes the internet is slow or a part takes a few days to arrive, but that's just how it goes sometimes. We try to be straight with people about what can be fixed and what’s a lost cause. It’s a local spot where neighbors stop by not just for phone stuff, but just to say hello while they’re out running errands in the market. We just keep going one phone at a time.
